Created as part of the “Home to Home” series where I study the landscapes between what used to be home to where we reside now. Painting is the perfect way to combat homesickness!
The Okanagan pieces are inspired by the landscapes surrounding our new home. Moving here has flooded my paintings with more colour, new shapes, and a desire to get out and explore! Many photographs have been taken on walks, hikes, and camping trips that are now showing up as brushstrokes on canvas.
